Avril calls off more shows due to laringitis - 2008-05-05
 Avril Lavigne has called off six more concerts in the US due to acute laryngitis. The songstress, who has previously canceled two shows, wrote on her MySpace page that she still is not able to perform after straining her vocals last week. "My sincerest apologies to all of my fans," Lavigne posted on her website. "My intention was to complete the rest of the tour but tonight at sound check in Anaheim I realized this wasn't possible. Even though I have been resting my voice for days, when I tried to sing nothing came out." Fans can get their refunds at point of purchase from today May 5.

 Avril Lavigne joined forced with Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant a fan’s wish, reports E! online. The punk princess made happy Kaylin Giroir, a 14-year-old from Louisiana with muscular dystrophy, inviting her to walk the red carpet before the singer’s performance in Biloxi, Missouri (April 22). Besides, Kayling received a Fender guitar signed by the artist and shared some private time with her in the dressing room before hitting the stage.

 Avril Lavigne has reportedly undergone a breast augmentation. Some internet sites show photos of the singer with a significant change on the size of her breast. According to a surgery expert, Avril may have increased her breast size from a small A-cup to a C-cup.
